Know Me

Thank you for visiting my blogs. I hope your journey through my writings will give you something to cherish later. Do feel free to leave your heartprints. They help me to become a better person, a better writer.

Writing is a passion for me, a life source. I am an Indian woman blogger, a Home maker ( housewife to me means there is a wife  somewhere else too :D ) , mother of two boys but above all a free spirit not chained by religion, rituals, customs, dogmas, caste and color. I thinks there are no borders in our hearts they exist only on the globe. One world, one family

Someone once called me a child woman ..and I feel he was right in some  way ..I love life and all that it stands for.

Curious, adventurous and always ready to learn something new ..That’s me.

Proud to be a born as a woman…..I am much more than what you see. With each day and each experience I add something new to my treasure of life …

My dreams are my threads with which I weave the yarn of life. I spin magic with my thoughts and the universe guides me in every possible way. I am a poetess, a tale weaver and a dreamer. I am the change I want to see..

I write about social issues especially women related issues and also poems, short stories, memoirs. I love to travel and think that nature inspires us in more than one ways so you will find the colors of nature splashed lovingly in my posts. Those who love to read about health, wellness, food, drinks , there is something always new being added.

I am a member of indiblogger , blogadda and those on Linkedin , Twitter .  You can add me there.

It’s been a wonderful journey as a blogger for me. Thank you again for being a part of my world.

Every day ,

I try to expand my horizons,

Inwardly,

In silence.
….
Like the mighty phoenix,
Once again I rise from the flames set to destroy me & take flight.
I am
Stronger
Glorious
Powerful
Victorious

**************
Like the butterfly,
I have the strength and the hope to believe
In time
I will emerge from my cocoon…
Transformed
.

  12. Bumped into your blog and I must say I am impressed. I love to write too so I can relate a lot with you.
Though my writing is not even half as good as yours. :)

I read your recent stories and they had quite an effect. Honestly, I am a little depressed. Wish you would also write a bit more about the positive sides of life. Makes it easy to assimilate the dark realities. The poem on child abuse totally ripped my heart apart. The story about Jai, the little brother was very sad too. It is beautiful in the sense that it feels like a journey through the seasons, complete with the textures of sight, sound and smell. But sad it was!

Keep writing. I sure will keep reading.

    Hi Smita
Thank you so much. I will surely write on positive note too but what I write is also a major ingredient of life. Do read my other articles from the categories listed. It is a pleasure to recieve feedback like this. Keep reading. thanks again

My daughter has to study Jaishankar Prasadji’s poem, ‘Arun, yeh madhumai desh hamar?’ for her ICSE exams and I was wondering if it was possible for you to give me a synopsis of the poem? try as I might, I am not able t understand many lines of the poem.

    Thanks so much.

    Best Wishes,
    Shobha
