It certainly used to give it a personal touch – the ability to hold onto something physical even after the first wave of excitement of reading the letter was over. They had an individualistic importance. The only advantage emails have over them is “time”. These are instantaneous – but lags far behind in all other aspects.

Maybe this instant thing is in a way better. I don’t know :)
