April was poetry month and I did what I do best – wrote some 28 poems .. Ok I missed out on some days but that is alright I guess. The challenge was by Poetic Asides with Robert Lee Brewer and what a learning experience it was.
Every day more than 500 poems on one prompt to read and enjoy. I had a great time participating. It was so much fun
Then the other one started on Associated content. I did try some new forms of poetry there too.
So now that the poetry sessions are over I want to try my hand on some other stuff. Some fun writing, some reflections, some ramblings or just a few daily observations.
April was also time to rediscover oneself, find new meanings to life, enjoy the beauty of flowers that bloomed everywhere in Delhi.
The boys finished with their respective exams and started a new phase in life. April marks a new beginning in many ways.
April also redefined many things in my life. Relationships, values, and much more. it was a month to look within and connect with the inner me.
I also want to thank all those who voted for me for the IndusLadies contest. The response on my entry was truly overwhelming and made me an instant winner. As a blogger ,as a writer and most of all as a daughter it was the biggest tribute I could give to my mother.
Thanks everyone for unconditional love and support.
Now the scorching heat of summer and the endless hours of restlessness will be filled by creativity in the kitchen and on the blog.
With the NaBloPoMo challenge it is going to be even better.
So hoping to update my blog everyday with some little thing that makes a difference in my life.
More than 7000 hits on associatedcontent and above 8000 on my blog really warms the heart ..
